When a large amount of condensed water and water droplets form around the transducer made of PTFE material, these condensed water will have a significant impact on the emission and reception of sound waves. Research has found that the impact of condensed water on primary and secondary echoes is closely related. During the propagation of sound waves, condensed water can alter the propagation path and reflection characteristics of sound waves, resulting in changes in the intensity and time delay of primary and secondary echoes.
Meanwhile, condensed water can cause energy decay. Due to the presence of condensed water, sound waves are absorbed and scattered during propagation, resulting in energy loss. This energy attenuation is related to factors such as the distribution and thickness of condensed water, as well as the frequency of sound waves.
