Traditional monitoring methods suffer from slow response times and data gaps. The underground road flood meter features an integrated sealed design, allowing for underground installation without damaging the road structure. Its IP68 protection rating withstands long-term water immersion and silt erosion. Equipped with dual-mode ultrasonic and conductivity sensors, the device accurately captures water level changes from 0 to 3 meters, with a measurement resolution of 0.001 meters. It automatically completes data acquisition every 5 minutes, and its built-in high-capacity battery supports a 7-year long-lasting battery life, eliminating the need for frequent battery replacements.

The accompanying self-powered signal concentrator operates in a dual-power mode of "solar energy + backup battery," ensuring stable operation even in remote areas without mains power coverage. It receives data from surrounding water level sensors via radio frequency, aggregates and verifies the data, and then uploads it in real time to the city's flood control platform via a dedicated 4G network, solving the pain points of "scattered data and transmission interruptions" in traditional monitoring.

This combined equipment effectively fills the monitoring gap in low-lying road sections, providing traffic management departments with water accumulation warnings and traffic control information, as well as providing accurate data for drainage system scheduling. This helps the city improve its emergency response capabilities during the flood season and protects the safety of citizens' travel.
