Working principle


Doppler FLOW METER brings you professional service,this device adopts a hidden buried installation method, which meets the current urban landscape requirements. The dual-mode (ultrasonic and conductivity) working mode can effectively solve the problem of product battery life. By using internal intelligent algorithms, the measurement mode can be automatically switched, effectively reducing product power consumption. Conductivity and ultrasound are used to sense changes in water level through analog measurement. Due to the special nature of road surface water, most of the time the equipment is installed in an anhydrous state. Therefore, directly measuring with a single ultrasound signal is more wasteful of electricity and has a significant impact on the battery life of the product.


So the four electrodes introduced (mutually backed up) are used to measure the conductivity of water to determine whether there is water. Due to the extremely low power consumption of measuring conductivity, this can greatly improve the utilization rate of the battery. When water is measured, the device will automatically switch to ultrasonic measurement mode. Of course, in order to ensure the reliability of the work, ultrasound will also be regularly activated to perform composite judgment on the conductivity measurement results.


The unique wave control technology optimizes the blind spots of the product in ultrasonic measurement mode. The echo pattern measured by the equipment can be reproduced and analyzed through a dedicated interface.


Determine the current water level by observing the changes in the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in water. It should be noted that the product may be affected by ultrasonic measurement blind spots, and the water level and environmental temperature signals will be uploaded to the cloud through NB-IOT or 4G.


It is more suitable for use in situations where the water level is not high (usually below 0.5 meters of accumulated water), such as open roads, bridges, elevated roads, parks, etc. (installation) for water level measurement.


Measurement principle:


The product uses a combination of ultrasonic waves and conductivity sensors to detect water level. Two sets of dual backup conductivity sensors are responsible for triggering water accumulation, and ultrasonic waves are responsible for accurate water level measurement. Report safely every 6 hours (adjustable) when there is no water accumulation, and every 5 minutes (adjustable) when there is water accumulation.
